Our goal

Sometimes the courage to take personal responsibility
is the engine that drives the future!

We are convinced that entrepreneurship is a good way to strengthen responsibility and at the same time achieve a forward-looking development of society in Africa. Besides entrepreneurship, education, women’s empowerment and social impact are the pillars that support our activities.

We support selected individuals with a tailor-made training programme for their respective businesses and accompany them on their way to self-employment. In addition, we demand and encourage a constant examination of the local market conditions in order to create a healthy and stable company.

WOMEN Empowerment

Women, especially single mothers, receive support for their children’s education as well as for their medical care. By means of coaching, we support women and encourage them to shape their lives with confidence and to take control of their own bodies in order to counteract the still widespread teenage pregnancies.

We start where education is lacking or needs to be supplemented. Computer skills, written and spoken English are just as much a part of this as all the necessary skills to build and/or maintain a healthy business. By supporting families with school fees for their children, we ensure that the next generation gets a good start in their working lives through vocational training.

Through our work at Mama Africa, we are making a social impact on the ground in several areas. Farmers are trained in sustainability and ecological aspects in order to achieve a slow shift in thinking towards ecological and future-oriented management of agricultural land. The entrepreneurs can earn a modest prosperity and thus give their children a perspective in their own country and ensure that they do not have to make their way as refugees to a more than uncertain future in Europe. In the long run, a middle class can be established.
